Grand Rounds recap: endoscopic versus microscopic ear surgery

November's virtual ESES Grand Round drew more than 150 participants for a focused discussion on the role of endoscopic ear surgery compared with the traditional microscopic approach.

The panel examined the advantages of transcanal endoscopic ear surgery in selected cases, the learning curve and equipment needs, and how units with limited resources can adopt the technique safely.
